Old Black Wood comes from the root systems of Malaysian hardwood trees. Just touch any piece of Old Black Wood to feel the difference.

Old Black Wood sinks. Due to the prolonged immersion in water, most of the degradable parts were washed away and only the hardest parts remain. There is very little further deterioration. What is left leaches very little and thus Old Black Wood does not affect the colour and water quality as much as other ordinary driftwood.

No two pieces are alike. The beautiful branching forms of Old Black Wood looks good from different angles. Just shifting your driftwood will offer you a totally different visual perspective.
