Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is yet another easy plant to grow in an aquarium and is native to Brazil.

It is not too demanding and can grow in all types of water conditions. Give it good lights and CO2 and it will thrive. Growth is very compact only under high light (>3wpg). Plant them is small groups and they will fill up the empty space in good conditions.

It makes an excellent foreground plant in most aquariums.
