This plant is a recent addition to the trade and is native to Thailand. It is commonly know as "Downoi", meaning Little Star due to its shape.

It is a beautiful and unique plant and does not make too much demands in an aquarium. It does require a rich substrate and strong lights to remain low growing.

This is often used in the foreground area of an aquarium.
