Cryptocoryne parva is the smallest known Crypt species today and has been used in recent years, especially in small or nano aquariums.

Once submersed, they tend to lose their leaves as they adapt to the tank conditions. But new shoots appear fast. As this tiny Crypt species need more light than other Crypt species, be careful not to overshadow it.

Plant individual plants a few cm apart, and after about six months they will form an attractive low group of plants.
